Fanimation created this ceiling fan to complement Hubbardton Forge® line of hand-forged lighting. Use this stylish contemporary fan to complement a variety of home settings, or layer it with coordinated Hubbardton Forge lighting to provide a cohesive fan and lighting solution. Features three forward and three reverse speeds with reverse built in remote control. A 1"Dia x 6" downrod is included and longer length downrods are available and sold separately. Not approved for damp or wet locations.

Looks great until both light and fan are on...

I purchased this fan because it looks great and I'm a huge fan (no pun intended) with Hubbardton Forge products. However, after installing the fan in my living room, the fan movement causes a great strobe light effect when both the fan and light are on at the same time, and it's enough to drive someone CRAZY! The light shining up was the selling point, due to a decorative ceiling in our room. But once it's turned on and used for what is intended for, it's incredibly horrible to the point you get dizzy. Strobe, strobe, strobe...it gets to the point you have to shut the fan off, or turn the light off.
