I'm using the giraffe sconces in a toddler room that I'm designing. They are great and work wonderfully. I highly recommend them if you're short on space and don't want little hands grabbing at lamps that can slide off dressers! Their minimal design makes a big impact. Love 'em!

This giraffe sconce was purchased for a baby's room. The sconce consists of two ceramic giraffe parts which are hung directly on the wall, and a fairly nondescript shade/sconce. I suppose the giraffe parts could be paired with a number of different sconce models to achieve the same effect.

The ceramic parts are unusual and stylized, and the shade/sconce seems to be of good quality but otherwise nothing special. The whole item may be a bit larger than you would think, so measure carefully.

I was happy with the scone from Jonathan Adler. The quality is high and it does not seem too hard to put up (although we will use an electrician to do the electrical work). I am now looking into buying the left facing scone.
